The school environment can be a great place to be or a rough spot to be. I had a friend who has worked at a school here in Charlotte, NC and I asked him how he was able to get through the day when she wasn’t around, and he said “she had to find a way to be a teacher.
She found a way, but the reality is that teaching can be extremely lonely and very hard. Even if you are the best teacher, it can still be hard to find others who are as passionate about the things you teach. You also have to find a way to balance work and life. I think that the biggest struggles teachers face are finding their own voice and what it means for them to “be a teacher.
I like to teach because I love it. I love the feeling of students having something to learn, I love that I can create something that makes students think and learn. I also love to teach because I love to teach. I love interacting with students, I love teaching them how to do things, I love interacting with teachers and making a difference. Finding a way to have both can be tough though, because as teachers, we can get overwhelmed with the job.
Well, that’s an understatement. The thing about teaching is that we’re all going to meet some sort of learning challenge, whether it’s a test, a grading system, or the need to use a certain learning tool. That’s part of the job, but it’s one thing to feel overwhelmed and another to actually find a way to create a learning environment that is both challenging and rewarding for your students.

Its amazing how effective that advice is. After a while you will come to see that teachers are just like anyone else. They have their own lives, families, and goals, but are still people. They are not the same as you, so when you ask them a question, it is important to not judge them. Listen to what they are saying. Learn from them. And most importantly: remember they are human.
Teaching is a tough job. It takes a lot of time and effort. The more time and energy you put into helping someone else learn, the more time you will have for your own personal activities. If you are being taught a subject that you are not particularly interested in, then you need to find a different profession. I used to be a teacher. Because I loved the subject I was in a teaching job for about twenty years. Now I am a coach.
It’s a good idea, but it’s no easy task. And that’s why I’ll tell you to read the book, work out your own schedule, and then apply the tips to your own life. I know, I know, that sounds like a lot of work. But it doesn’t have to be. It is possible to be a great teacher and a great coach at the same time.
