“In the beginning, there was Pong.” The first video game ever designed for mobile devices wasn’t Angry Birds or Temple Run. It was a simple game of table tennis, and it came out in 1975. From then on, games have been steadily moving to smaller screens as they’re moved from arcade cabinets to handheld consoles to smartphones. Today we take a look back at the history of gaming on mobile devices with an infographic that shows how far we’ve come since 1975!

-Pong is one of the original arcade games that found its way to personal computers with the introduction of Atari’s Game Pong in 1972

-In 1979, Mattel Electronics released Auto Race which introduced features such as multiple drivers on screen at once and scrolling screens.

-One year later (1980), Nintendo released Radar Scope – a shooter using radar scanning technology developed by Texas Instruments for NASA missile defense systems. From Pong to PlayStation, gaming has gone from a manual-intensive labor of love on the smelly side projects with 3rd grade electronics in our parent’s basement, to becoming an industry that makes billions. Today there are more people playing games than ever before and they’re not drooling teeth either!

) And if you want your kids to have healthier habits than parents had back in the day? Packing up the game console can be a daunting task for busy parents, but there are some tips that can make it go a lot smoother. First and foremost, always remember to pack their controller cables when packing up! They’ll know exactly what they need and won’t end up confused and frustrated finding them in the morning after your long flight!”

Mobile gaming has come a long way since its inception. When it started out, games were played on devices like the Atari 2600 and other similar video game systems of that era. They also had to be manually programmed by an individual with knowledge in electronics. These days mobile gaming is dominated by handheld versions such as Nintendo DS or PlayStation Vita where people can enjoy playing their favorite games anytime they want! Gone are the days when only kids would play them – now more adults than ever before are getting into these awesome past times because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as beating your best score while you’re stuck at work during lunch break (although those pesky parental controls make this difficult sometimes!). As if parents needed another reason to feel guilty about being tied down all
