We use a number of different scores to track our child’s behavior in our home. We use the following to create a visual representation of our child’s behavior in our home.
The number one thing that I think is important to note is that “bad” behaviors can be very damaging to a child’s developmental progress. Children who are “totaled” or “spent” are the ones who have trouble developing their social skills or developing a conscience. It’s a great indicator that your child is at risk for these developmental delays.
So what does the childs environment score sheet look like? The first two columns show how the child’s environment affects their behavior. The third column shows the childs activity level.
The third column is an example of how the environment is affecting the childs behavior. It shows how much of the childs activities they are engaging in and how much of the childs activities are related to the environment.
We’re glad to be able to put a little color in this environment rating sheet so we can see not only how it affects a child, but also how much of their activities are related to the environment too.
Now for a little more detail, this is a four-point scale, which ranges from 1 to 4. 1 being “extremely high activity”, 2 being “high activity”, 3 being “moderate activity”, and 4 being “extremely low activity”. This is a good example of the first column the environment affects the childs behavior. The second column shows the childs activities and how much of the childs activities are related to the environment.
The second column is the childs total activities and how much of the childs total activities are related to the environment. The third column is the childs total activities, and the fourth column is the childs total activities, and you can see how different activities relate to the environment.
These two scales are both excellent ways to measure the childs behaviors in an environment. The first is more detailed and requires more time to complete and the second is more global.
The third column is a score from 0 to 100 where 0 means “This activity is not related to the environment” and 100 means “This activity is very related to the environment.” The fourth column is the score from 0 to 100, and the fifth column is the score from 0 to 100.
Because you’re interested in a child, you could see this as a test of the child’s ability to manage their own environment. The child can score higher on this scale if they can self-manage their environment better. The other scales I mentioned above can be used to measure behaviors that occur across multiple situations.
